JEBI Foundations Certificate Program

This six-course justice, equity, belonging, and identity certificate program will help faculty and staff acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate within 17³Ô¹ÏÍø’ diverse and inclusive community, as well as the local community and beyond. This program will help 17³Ô¹ÏÍø begin that shift in understanding from competence to humility resulting in the acknowledgment and respect of all colleagues' individuality, while promoting empathy, connection, and a healthier campus community. Inclusive Hiring Training

This training is designed for faculty and staff who plans to participate in the hiring process, such as search committees. Inclusive Hiring Training helps to enhance inclusivity and equity, as well as mitigate bias, throughout the hiring process. For questions or to learn more, please reach out to Dr. Tita Feraud-King at pferaud-king@holycross.edu.

Affinity Groups

Affinity groups are employee-led groups formed around interests, backgrounds, identities, and common bonds. By engaging with our affinity groups, 17³Ô¹ÏÍø staff and faculty help foster a positive work environment and contribute to the College’s mission by demonstrating a commitment to diversity and inclusion. In partnership with Human Resources, the JEBI Office is proud to support Outfront, an affinity group for LGBTQIA+-identified faculty, staff, and their allies, and Sister2Sister, an affinity group for faculty and staff who identify as women of color or are committed to supporting faculty and staff who identify as women of color. Future Faculty Institute

The Future Faculty Institute seeks to empower prospective faculty from minoritized populations by providing a critical platform for them to explore academic departments, establish meaningful connections with faculty and staff, engage in research discussions and workshops, and immerse themselves in the vibrant community and campus culture of 17³Ô¹ÏÍø. Recognizing the importance of diversity in higher education, this program is dedicated to fostering equity and cultivating a sense of belonging within academia.
