The 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Orchestra gives both music majors and non-majors the opportunity to come together and play orchestra masterworks, ranging from the baroque era to pieces written in the modern day.Â
The regular Monday and Wednesday rehearsal schedule allows for group growth, the development of listening skills, the establishment of clear goals and structured practice, and, most of all, the opportunity to experience building of an interpretation of a piece of music from the first sight-reading day to concert day. Most levels of individual proficiency are welcome but a consultation with the conductor for seat placement is required.
