Many resources on campus are dedicated to supporting students through difficulties they may face personally and academically.
Please encourage your student to access these resources and seek help if needed. As a parent or family member, please be in touch with the College should you have a concern.
The 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Student Campus Assessment, Response & Education, or CARE, Team provides coordinated support for students in distress, addressing concerns about a student’s behavior, academic progress, and personal issues, including physical and mental health. As family members, you have valuable insight as to how your student is doing. If you have a concern please be in touch with the College.
In the event of an emergency, Public Safety should be contacted immediately. They are located on the lower level of The Jo (The Joanne Chouinard-Luth Recreation and Wellness Center). They are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be reached at 508-793-2224. In case of an emergency, dial 508-793-2222.
The Counseling Center provides confidential assistance to students who have a wide range of concerns, such as stress, adjustment difficulties, relationship problems, anxiety, and depression. They work collaboratively with students to promote their academic success and personal growth during their years at 17³Ô¹ÏÍø.
The Chaplains’ Office is available to support students who may encounter challenges and concerns. Students can reach out to their class chaplain or any of the dedicated members of the College Chaplains’ staff.
At 17³Ô¹ÏÍø, a class dean is assigned to each incoming class and works with them from the time of their acceptance through their graduation. Class deans get to know their class and are eager to offer support and guidance in a variety of areas.
Health services is located on campus in Loyola Hall and offers a variety of services to support students well-being.
