Fun Facts: My favorite animal is the blue whale and I enjoy organic gardening
Welcome to CAPS! As director, I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work with a wonderful team of professionals in the delivery of psychological services to support students. I utilize a service leadership model, informed by the College’s mission and grounded in professional ethics. I advocate for student mental health through participation on campus and external committees and boards. I consider it a privilege and honor to be invited by students to accompany them in their growth and healing. I approach psychotherapy from an affirming, developmental, interpersonal, pro-feminist, and culturally inclusive perspective.

Fun Facts: I love to cook (mostly soup) and my favorite place to be is at the beach with my family
As the Office Coordinator, my primary role is providing administrative support to the amazing CAPS staff and our peer education group, COPE. My favorite part of this role is the interactions I get to have with students. I am often the first person people encounter when they contact CAPS. Welcoming students and guiding them to the support they need for me is meaningful and rewarding. I enjoy getting to know COPE members and supporting them in their programming. As students develop in their time at 17³Ô¹ÏÍø, I appreciate getting to be a part of watching them grow.

Fun Facts: I'm on an 814 day streak (at time of writing this) in learning foreign languages on Duolingo.Ìý
I am incredibly grateful to be able to coordinate the therapy groups at our office and work with the wonderful students at 17³Ô¹ÏÍø. My aim in all of my work as a psychologist is to understand, support, and challenge my clients as we work together to advance their mental health goals, whatever they may be. Understanding emotions, connecting with needs, and getting unstuck from unhelpful cycles often comes up in my work with clients. I tend to pull from humanistic and mindfulness-based cognitive-behavioral therapies. My clinical interests also include improving sleep, managing with worry, perfectionism, OCD, or social anxiety, and working with international students.Ìý
