Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 17³Ô¹ÏÍø conferred bachelor of arts degrees to members of the Class of 2020 as part of a virtual celebration on May 22, 2020. The event, aired live on the College’s website, included congratulatory messages from faculty, staff and alumni, reflections from the senior class, and a surprise message from Dr. Anthony Fauci ’62, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health and a member of the White House coronavirus task force.
In addition, a 2020 United Convocation was held on May 22, 2021, providing another milestone and celebration for the Class of 2020. The event came together after working with a group of members of the Class of 2020, including the SGA co-chairs, class president and commencement chair, to determine plans to celebrate Commencement as a class.

Class of 2020 In-Person Celebration
A reunion is planned for the spring of 2022. The College plans to include events similar to those that members of the Class of 2020 missed in their senior year and activities will be planned with class leaders.
