Ski Team

The 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Club Ski Team is a student-run, competitive racing organization, but no prior racing experience is required to join, and we encourage first time racers to join. Please come by our table at the Fall Co-Curricular Extravaganza in the Hogan Ballroom to join our mailing list and learn more by attending our meetings. Check out our for regular updates and our website for more information .

17³Ô¹ÏÍø Ski Team

The 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Ski Team offers an opportunity for both the experienced and inexperienced racer. For some of our racers, the team serves as an introduction to ski racing. For others, it is an opportunity to continue ski racing at the collegiate level, improving skill in a competitive, but fun environment.

The ski team races in the Thompson Division of the United States Collegiate Ski Association (USCSA). The season consists of ten races over five weekends. Training camp is held at Sunday River in Bethel, ME for one to two weeks in early January. Our coach,  leads the camp.
This camp is the primary opportunity for members to train and receive instruction from our coach. Membership activity for the ski team typically includes twenty to thirty student-athletes attending offseason practices, mid-week training, and the race weekends.  The team is coached by Jim Pietrovito (HCSkiCoach@gmail.com).Ìý
