The 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Department of Theater and Dance will perform Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein's, Oklahoma!ÌýSet in the twentieth century with unresolved tensions between cowboys and ranchers, the musical parallels Oklahoma’s growth into an exciting new melded identity with the coming of age of four young people. Meaghan Deiter’s (Director) dynamic production will embrace the original story while balancing the time period with a modern feminist perspective.Ìý

Alden Trust Performance Studio, Prior Performing Arts Center (3rd Floor)

This workshop will introduce kids to a variety of drama games and exercises that willÌýhave them on their feet and using theirÌýimaginations.Ìý No experience necessary - the main goal is to have fun! Recommended for ages 7-12.Ìý

Join us for a Paint Class! This session will take participants on a step by step guided journey toÌýcreate the image featured to the left. Your $20 registration fee (per person) includes all supplies, and participants of all artistic abilities are welcome. This event is at capacity.

Join us for a tour of our newest exhibition.Ìý focuses on Nepali-born, Boston-based artist Sneha Shrestha (b.1987 – ) who is known for her bold, calligraphic, and colorful presentation of the Nepali alphabet in Devanagari script.ÌýÌý(pre-registration is encouraged, but not required).

Open September, 2022, the Center features dedicated spaces for the fine and performing arts, including the Cantor Art Gallery, a 400-seat concert hall, and a 200-seat flexible performance space, as well as spaces and technology to support creative interactions between the arts and other disciplines. Peek in the Boroughs Theatre and the Luth Concert Hall on the ground floor and visit the Cantor Gallery on the third floor!
