Dr. Lyz Reblin-Renshaw obtained her PhD. in Rhetoric, Theory & Culture from Michigan Technical University. Her scholarship takes traditional 20th century literary theory, with a focus on culture studies, post-structuralism, and semiotics, and applies it to 21st century texts, particularly video games. Her book, Ludonarrative Synchronicity in the BioShock Trilogy published by Palgrave Pivot, centered around the adaptation of narratology for the video game medium.
