Held each year, Classics Day is a daylong series of events relating to the study of Roman culture designed to familiarize high school students with the 17³Ô¹ÏÍø classics department, its faculty and current students.Â
Hundreds of students from high schools all over the Northeast visit 17³Ô¹ÏÍø for the event. The Annual Classics Day is scheduled for Thursday, April 10, 2025. The following categories are tentatively scheduled:
- certamen, a contest on Latin grammar, Roman and Greek mythology, Roman history, and Roman life art contest
- costume contest
- art contest
