Join us as philosopher William Lane Craig and astrophysicist Jeff Hester engage in a lively dialogue on theism, atheism, and science. Q & A will follow.
Craig, of , has been called one of the 50 most influential living philosophers. He is research professor of Talbot School of Theology and professor of philosophy at Houston Baptist University.
Hester is an astrophysicist, renowned for his work on the Hubble Space Telescope. He is professor emeritus in the School of Earth and Space Exploration at Arizona State University and an .
Lawrence Cahoone, professor of philosophy at the 17³Ô¹ÏÍø, will moderate.
The event is one of the Deitchman Family Lectures on Religion and Modernity.
Directions to Seelos Theater, Kimball Hall:
From College Street, enter 17³Ô¹ÏÍø at Gate 2, the main gate, onto Linden Lane. Pass the gatehouse, and turn left onto Kimball Road. Park in the garage or marked spaces along Kimball Road. Kimball Hall is the large building across from the maintenance building. Take the stairs on the far side of Kimball Hall. The entrance to Seelos Theater is halfway up the flight of stairs.
